Richard W. Pifer, Sr. has been in the real estate, property management and remodeling/construction business for over 35 years. He has successfully purchased, developed, sold and leased hundreds of commercial and residential properties during this period. Currently, he holds his Virginia “Class A” contractor, plumbing and electrical licenses in addition to his real estate broker’s and mortgage lending licenses. Richie, Sr. holds a BS from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. Over the course of his life in Winchester, he has served on the Winchester Economic Development Authority, Winchester City School Board and Chairman of the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Belle Grove Plantation. He and his wife reside in Winchester with their three sons, their wives along with four grandchildren.

He has experience in both project management, real estate investment properties and holds a Virginia “Class A” contractor’s license. Richie, Jr. is a founding member of the Rotary Club of Winchester’s Latest, board member of Preservation of Historic Winchester and Past-President of the Shenandoah Arts Council. Before entering the construction and investment property fields, he worked as a deputy project manager for a multi-hundred million dollar U.S. Army project while at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and IBM Business Consulting Services in Fairfax, VA. Richie, Jr. resides in Winchester with his wife and two sons.
Courtlin D. Pifer is the Director of Sales and Marketing and member of the design team for Pifer Construction, Inc. A graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA with a degree in art design, Court is the President of the Top of Virginia Builders Association, serves on the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross Top of Virginia Chapter, member of the Winchester Rotary Club and active member and volunteer of the historic Belle Grove Plantation. Court resides in Winchester with his wife and two daughters.
Brandon W. Pifer is a licensed real estate agent in Virginia, holding his license with Pifer and Associates, L.L.C., and is Managing Member of Pifer Management, LLC, the Property Management Division. He is a graduate of James Madison University with a degree in business administration and has successfully purchased, renovated and sold residential properties in Harrisonburg and Winchester, VA, starting while enrolled at JMU. Brandon is a member of the City of Winchester Board of Zoning Appeals and Youth Development Center of Winchester/Frederick/Clarke/Warren. He and his wife reside in Winchester.
Shannon B. Morgan joined the Pifer Companies team in 2013 as Assistant, Residential Property Management, for Pifer Management, LLC. She grew up in Winchester where she entered the property management field in 1992. Since she began her career, Shannon has gained extensive knowledge and valuable experience in landlord-tenant law and has effectively and efficiently managed multi and single family properties in the Top of Virginia, boasting on average a 95%+ occupancy rate on approximately 250 properties. Her integrity, positive attitude, strong work ethic and proven track record for high rental occupancy rates, low tenant turnover and responsiveness to tenant and client needs makes her one of the most effective and capable property managers in the Top of Virginia. Shannon currently resides in Martinsburg, WV with her husband.
Nicholas W. Sardelis joined the Pifer Companies team as the lead project manager and estimator in 2011. He has been in the commercial and residential construction field for over 12 years, working his way through various field positions to senior project manager and estimator. Nick has been instrumental in the planning, design and construction phases of over one million square feet of commercial structures, including churches, schools, restaurants, health care facilities, medical, warehousing, office and historical structures. Nick holds a bachelor of science with a major in physics and minor in math from Longwood University. He is involved with his local church, has previously coached wrestling at John Handley High School and resides in Winchester with his wife and two children.
